Two dead as boat capsizes in River Lidder In South Kashmir

Srinagar: Two persons, one of them an employee of the tourism department and other a participant of a rafting championship named after brave-heart Rouf Ahmad Dar, died while a few others were seriously injured after a boat capsized in a river fast flowing Lidder at Pahalgam in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday evening.
Reports said that the boat carrying eight to ten persons capsized in Lidder near Pahalgam on Tuesday afternoon. All of them were rescued and shifted to hospital where two of them were declared dead on arrival while all injured were admitted.
