Srinagar: The owner of the vehicle used in the Pulwama blast in February this year was among two members of the Jash-e-Mohammad militants killed in a gunfight with government forces at Marhama in Bijbehara area of Anantnag in south Kashmir on Tuesday.
Identified as Sajad Ahmad Bhat alias ‘Afzal Guru’, the car owner had joined Jaish-e-Mohammad’s Fidayeen squad days before the Lethpora attack which claimed nearly 50 CRPF personnel.
Sajad Bhat son of Mohammad Maqbool Bhat of Marhama Sangam was killed along with another JeM affiliate in the gunfight that also the killing of a soldier and injuries to two others.
