Pulwama: Government forces on Friday evening launched a cordon and search operation at main town of Tral in this this South Kashmir district .

Sources told INS that Army, SOG and CRPF jointly launched the CASO in Darul Ulooom road, Noorabad and Eidgah areas of Tral’s main town.

They said that CASO was launched on the basis of inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

“Darul Uloom road and adjoining areas are being searched from last twenty minutes. Door to door search has also been initiated,” sources said.
