Shopian: Two militants have been killed in an encounter with government forces that raged in Awnera village of Shopian district.

Sources claimed that two militants have been killed while the anti militancy operation is in progress.

The operation is being conducted by a joint team of Army’s 1 RR, SOG and CRPF.

Internet services were snapped in the district as a precautionary measure.
