Srinagar: A Para trooper allegedly ended his life by shooting himself with his service rifle in Muchpora area of Kellar in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday.

The Army commando of 23 Para Regiment identified as Karamjit Singh was .

The incident occured  while he was on duty today at around 10:30 am.

Police has registered case and further investigation has been initiated
