Srinagar: Governor Satya Pal Malik has expressed grief over the loss of Lance Naik Nasir Ahmed Bhat, belonging to Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry regiment and resident of Anantnag, in an road accident in Assam.
Governor has prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family in its hour of grief.
Two Armymen were killed and three others injured when their vehicle overturned in Sonitpur district on Tuesday.
The accident took place at Nekerahola area in the morning when the Army personnel including Bhat were going home on leave.
