Gunfight rages in Gagloora Shopian, many injured in clashes

Shopian: Gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Gagloora area of Shopian district on Wednesday.

Police sources said that the the CASO was launched during day after which clashes erupted in the area leading to injuries to protesters in police action.

Later in the day as searches were intensified contact with militants was made.

“Heavy exchange of gunfire is being exchanged,” sources said.
