Sopore: A tractor driver was killed in Watergam area of Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday afternoon.
Reports said that an ‘overloaded’ tractor on way to Baramulla from Handwara turned turtle near Army Camp Watergam, resulting in the on the spot killing of driver identified as Aijz Aijz Ahmad, a resident of Dachinpora Rohma.
Locals rushed to rescue him and took him to nearby hospital for treatment where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Police have registered a case in this regard and further investigation has taken up.
