Pulwama:  Two militants have been killed in an encounter in Pazgam village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.

Police sources claimed after the killing of one militant in initial exchange of fire, another holed up militant too has been killed.

Srinagar based defence Spokesperson confirmed the killing of two militants.

“Weapons & warlike stores recovered. Joint operation in progress, ” he said.

Clashes erupted in the area following the encounter and protesters and forces were fighting pitched battle when last reports came in.

Forces launched a joint Operation in Panzgam ‘on thr basis of specific inputs about militants presence’.
