Pulwama encounter: Three militants killed, identity being ascertained

Pulwama: Forces have recovered third body from the encounter site in Panzgam village of Pulwama  taking the militant death toll to three.

Earlier Army spokesperson had confirmed to media that two militants have been killed in the nocturnal gunfight that broke out in the area.

“Operation is in progress,” he had said.

Police sources said that all the three bodies have been recovered and their identity is being ascertained.

Gunfight broke out in the village after a joint team of forces sealed the area and launched searches following specific input about militants presence in the area.

Clashes broke out in the area while forces were conducting the anti militancy operation in the area.
