Militants open fire on Army patrolling party in Aripora Shopian

Shopian: Militants on Thursday opened fire on an Army patrolling party in Aripora area of Shopian district, reports said.

According to initial reports an Army patrolling party came under fire from hiding militants leading to the brief exchange.

The area has been cordoned off and searches are being conducted.

Officials confirmation of the incident in awaited.
