HC asks courts to hide names of parties in matrimonial cases

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court has asked all the courts under jurisdiction to hide names of parties in matrimonial cases.
“All the Courts under the jurisdiction of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir shall, for reasons of confidentiality and privacy of the litigants, ensure that the party names are not disclosed to the public in the matters pertaining to Matrimonial Disputes, Maintenance Cases and Cases relating to Guardianship,” reads circular issued here by the Registrar General.
