Stranded vehicles on highway would soon be cleared, Div Com assures KCCI members

Srinagar: A delegation of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce (KCCI) members today called on Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan to discuss various issues confronting traders. The Divisional Commissioner informed the members that the government had dedicated Mughal Road for small vehicles and fruit-laden trucks till the National Highway is fully restored.  He assured that all stranded vehicles on the highway would soon be cleared. Earlier, KCCI members appraised the Divisional Commissioner about their demands. Giving a patient hearing, the Div Com assured the delegation that their concerns would be taken care of for the betterment of the economic sector in the Valley. The Divisional Commissioner said that he would hold weekly meetings with KCCI members on every Saturday to listen and redress issues, if any faced, by the business fraternity.
