Srinagar: An elderly was killed in a bear attack in Gali Kalaban village Mendhar in Poonch district of Jammu division of J&K state.

The incident happened on Friday evening at around 7:30pm.

60-year old Fayaz Ahmed Chounhan, son of Ghulam Nabi had left home to offer evening prayers.

Police said that Fayaz breathed his last on the spot.
