Authorities suspended licence of four chemists in Sopore, were involved in touting

Sopore: Licenses of four chemist situated outside Sub District Hospital Sopore were suspended by Drug Department over compelling patients to purchase medicines from their shops.
The action was taken over complaints received by the department that certain medical shops, chemists are involved in touting and are compelling patients to purchase medicines from their shops only.

“A team from the department visited the place and suspended their licences till further orders,” officials said.

They said that there is ban on touting in the district and any such practice will be dealt according to law.
