“Run against Drug Addiction” held by R P School

Srinagar: R.P School Alamdar Colony organized its annual Cross Country Run under the theme of “Run against Drug Addiction” on Friday here.

R.P school chairman, Moulana Ashiq Hussain said that the Drug menace is drastically affecting the large sections of our society including Students and women.

The awareness campaign initiated through R.P School Cross Country Run is highlighting the menace and consequences of drug abuse in our society and the need to  stop this rapid addiction that is effecting the ethos of our society and leading to the moral degradation of our society.

The Flagging off ceremony was done by Mr.G.N.Var , the Chairman of J&K Private Schools Association at 6:00 a.m  at Nishat Garden. The event was professionally organized & managed for ensuring safety of students.

10 students secured top positions in total and where  awarded  medals and certificates in the school premises.

On the occasion, Chief Guest Mr. G. N Var highly appreciated the efforts of R.P school and lauded them for doing things differently. He wished R.P school management, all the best and said R.P school is contributing hugely in strengthening the moral values and setting standards for our future generations. He emphasized that parents should ensure that the children remain physically fit through activity based learning and contributions and sedentary life style is minimized. .At last the Principal, Mr G.Q. Jeelani paid the vote of thanks to the audience.
