Commuters from Nishat, Harwan and Shalimar on Saturday staged a protest in Lal Chowk against the authorities for failure to keep a check on sumo and other taxi vehicles plying on these routes. They alleged during the evening hours, all these taxis vanish, leaving them at the mercy of private vehicles and usually overcharging auto rickshaws.   Pictures By Zargar Zahoor
