Militants attack police post Chanpora, cop injured

Srinagar: A policeman was critically injured when militants attacked a police post Chanapora here on Friday evening.  Official sources said that the militants opened fire upon the police post, critical injuring a policeman who was immediately taken to nearby hospital. Sources said that the militants after carrying out the attack managed to escape from the area. Soon after the attack, government forces launched a hunt to nab the assailants. However when this report was filed, no arrests were made.
