Two killed after ‘short-circuit’ in community transformer in Poonch

Jammu: A follower in police and a civilian were killed due to electrocution to short circuit of 33KV transformer in Poonch district early Tuesday morning.
Reports said that the follower–Faiz (40) son of Mohammad Sharif and a civilian Mohammad Shabir (38) son of Abdul Rahim died on spot after they came in touch with live wire as they tried to unhook main line of their residences following blast like sound in the local transformer.
Officials also confirmed death of two people while police has reached the spot and are assessing the situation.
