Pulwama: One CRPF personnel was injured after suspected militants’ lobbed grenade towards the paramilitary camp in Nowdal area of south Kashmir’s Tral sub district on Wednesday evening, sources said.

They said that UBGL was hurled at 180 battalion CRPF camp in Nowdal village, resulting in injuries to one personnel.

The CRPF personnel retaliated with firing, they added.

The injured CRPF man was identified as head constable T.L. Parshad of 180 CRPF. The injured, who received splinter injury on his left hand, has been hospitalized.

According to reports soon after the incident forces reached the spot and started search operation to nab the attackers.
