Anantnag: A sub district magistrate was on Tuesday thrashed by Army and his official vehicle has been damaged as well.
According to sources SDM Duroo was on his way to Qazigund.
“He was stopped by Army near Ujroo,” sources said
They claimed that SDM Duroo, identified as Ghulam Rasool Wani, had an argument with the Army officer.
Army officer allegedly manhandled the SDM and damaged his vehicle.
A police official wishing anonymity confirmed the incident and said that Deputy commissioner Anantnag has rushed to the place.

“The meeting of the officials in underway,” he said.
