Baramulla: A local militants of Lashkar-e-Toaiba was arrested at Zandpal area of Tangmerg in north Kashmir Baramulla district on Thursday.
Reports said that of army’s 2RR, SOG, CRPF and Police launched massive cordon and search operation in Zandpal village following credible inputs about presence of the militant in the area.
During search operation, Firdous Ahamd khan with LeT was arrested. He said a case under FIR (19/2019) under section 7/25 IA Act was registered in police station Kunzer and further investigation was going on, a police officer said.
