Awantipora: Two Indian air force officers including a Squadron leader have been killed while two others are injured in a road accident at Awantipora area of Pulwama district.
The accident occurred on Awantipora-Pulwama road near seed multiplication farm at Padgampora, in the wee hours of Thursday.
“At 3 am a Scorpio car of Air force station Awantipora met with an accident near Seed multiplication farm Padgampora Awantipora, resulting in the on spot death of two AIF officers. Two other personnel were injured,” officials said.
The deceased officers have been identified as Sq. Leader Pandy and CPL Ajay.
