Srinagar: Four militants have been killed and three forces personnel sustained injuries in a gunfight in Lassipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
The gunfight broke after a joint team of 55 RR, SOG and CRPF carried a cordon-and-serach-operation at Lassipora area of Pulwama.
“We had specific input about militants hiding in the area,” a police official said.”Three army men were injured and were shifted to army hospital for treatment,” he said, adding, “Four militants have been killed. He said that the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
