Farooq Shah promises chain of cold stores, nursing school in Tangmarg

Tangmarg: Stating that Sariwarpora-Goewa belt of Tangmarg constituency would be developed as a major horticulture hub, National Conference leader Farooq Ahmad Shah on Sunday said that the area has a huge potential for apple production and National Conference government would be setting chain of cold stores in the area so that apple producers could supply the apples to outside state markets at the timing of their own choosing.
During his interactive meetings in Sarewarpora,Warpora,Serevdagarpora, Goewa, the former bureaucrat said that besides establishing cold stores, he would work for developing the dilapidated road and electricity Infrastructure on modern lines in the area. Shah also regretted inadequate opportunities for that girls and boys to attain education and said enough efforts would be put in place to establish schools, colleges and other technical institutions in the area. Farooq said that special attention would also be paid to girl education and he and his party would consider establishing a nursing school here so that girls of the area are provided a job oriented education. Shah said he is the most important thing for young boys and girls and he would focus on providing opportunities for youth of his constituency to pursue higher and technical studies without any hassle.
Meanwhile people of these areas appreciated Shah for his decision of joining politics and said this would benefit the people of the constituency. They pledged full support to Shah and said they want to see a change in the constituency as they have been always ignored and underrepresented.
