Motorcycle borne youth injured in army firing in Pulwama, shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar

Pulwama: A motorcycle borne youth was injured when army allegedly opened fire at him and his pillion rider near Bandzoo Bridge Pulwama.

Reports said that the youth namely Shahid Farooq Bhat son of Farooq Ahmad Bhat resident of Prichoo Pulwama suffered bullet injury in army firing. Police sources said that army has informed the police that fire was opened as the motorcyclist tried to jump naka at around 6:15 p.m.

Meanwhile Shahid was shifted to district hospital Pulwama from where he has been referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for specialized treatment. As per reports he has suffered bullet injury in his back and thigh.
