In pictures: Restrictions imposed in Old City ahead of JRL’s call for protest against ‘teacher’s custodial killing’

Authorities have imposed restrictions in Old City areas including Nowhatta which houses the historic Jamia Masjid. The JRL comprsing both factions of Hurriyat Conference led respectively by Syed Ali Geelani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq besides JKLF headed by Yasin Malik, have called for protests after Friday prayers against the “custodial killing” of a teacher from Awantipora.  Pictures by Zargar Zahoor
