Jammu: One Army man has been killed in Keri Battal area of Sunderbani sector in District Rajouri on Monday.

India and Pakistan armies exchanged gunfire in the sector following Ceasefire violation by Pakistan in the morning, official said.

He said that the exchange of gunfire erupted after Pakistan resorted to CFV by firing mortars and small arms firing.

The soldiers were injured in the Pakistan firing and were evacuate to medical facility where one soldier succumbed.
