Ramban: Death toll in the fatal accident in Ramban district has mounted to ten including three minors have been killed in a tragic accident in Jammu.

The incident happened after the sumo they were travelling skidded off the road and fell into a gorge at Khunda Nallah in Chanderkote area of Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.

Among the deceased is a mother and her two year old daughter. The duo have been identified as Urmila Devi 32, w.o Manjeet Singh and her 2 year old daughter Pari.

The injured were evacuated to medical facility but were declared brought dead by the doctors.

The hospital authorities have identified the deceased as Romal Din, 61, S.O Abdulah, r.o Mildan, Immana Bano 13, D.O Zakir Hussain r.o Mildan Rajgah, Arjun Singh 9, S.O Jasveer Singh of Kumate, Babli Devi, 37, w.o Jasveer Singh r.o Kumate, Rubeena Begum 30 w.o Mohammad Akram of Tatarsoo Ramban, and  Mohammad Mubeen 23, s.o Saidullaha of Satra Bhartund.

One deceased lady’s identification is being ascertained.
