PAMPORE: The illegal construction and land grabbing in Letribal area of Pampore in South Kashmir’s Pulwama is going on unabated. Officials have kept a ‘criminal silence, and neglect’, locals allege.
Residents of the area claim that land mafia illegally constructed structures in Letribal area near HP Gas Turbine Plant.
“It is illegal to construct anything within 300ft to the plant. How can any structure come up without officials having any information,” locals alleged. stopped by the authorities, we will come on roads to protest,” locals said.
Tehsildar Pampore, Ishtiyaq Mohidin told INS that he is new to the area and has ‘just joined as an officer there’.
“Will look into the matter as soon as possible and action will be taken against against the guilty,” he said.
