BASHARAT RASHID
Pulwama: The residents of Sofigund village in Pulwama district’s Aripal tehsil are aggrieved of delay in the construction work on Ganiegund-Sofigund road by R&B Department.
The inhabitants said that work to construct Ganiegund-Sofigund road was started two years back “but the work was stopped after few months.”
“The road work was delayed due to unknown reasons,” locals said and demanded the restart of the construction at an earliest.
Concerned Engineer R&B, Ishtiyaq Zargar, told INS that a revised estimate is being submitted to the authorities. “Once it will be approved, the work shall be restarted,” he added.
