Highway: Only stranded vehicles moving towards Srinagar

Srinagar: Traffic authorities on Wednesday said that they will be allowing only stranded vehicles to move towards Srinagar to decongest the strategic highway.

The officials said that the vehicles heading towards Srinagar are being allowed.

“Our main aim right now is to completely decongest the highway,” the official said.

The highway is the only road connectivity of the Valley with the rest of the world and was closed recently triggering crisis like situation in the valley.
