Decision On Movement Of Traffic On Highway To Be Taken After Srinagar-Bound Vehicles Cleared: Officials

Srinagar: Decision regarding the movement of vehicles on Srinagar-Jammu highway, the only surface link connecting Kashmir Valley with rest of the world, shall be taken on Wednesday, authorities said on Tuesday evening.
“Today traffic movement was disrupted on highway due to landslide at Salad near Kharpora between Ramban- Banihal,” reads a statement by traffic department.
It said decision regarding the movement of vehicles on highway shall be taken tomorrow after all the Srinagar-bound vehicles are cleared “subject to fair weather and clearance of road. “No movement of any type of vehicle shall be allowed on highway till further decision.”
