Srinagar: Governor Jammu and Kashmir Satya Pal Malik on Satureday appointed Muneer Ahmad Khan, ADGP Law and Order State information commissioner.
General Adminstration Department passed the orders of the posting on March 2.
According to the order Khan, presently Security, Law and Order, Home gaurds, Civil Defence, SDRF as State Informatio Commissioner in the state Information Commission.
“Khan’s appointment as SIO shall take effect from the date he assumes charge of the post,” the order reads.
