The Budgam girl who was missing from past five days, according to police, has been traced. 

A police officer involved in the investigation of the case told INS that they have successfully traced the girl. 

The girl identified as Samreena Akhtar, a resident of Sitaharan Khag, was  missing since February 15, the day violence broke out in the winter capital and authorities had to impose curfew. 

“We are holding a presser and will share the complete details of the who investigation,” the officer said, adding that she was provided shelter as the region was boiling with tensions.
