Srinagar: Clashes erupted between youth and forces in Parray pora area of upper town in Srinagar city on Monday.

Eye witnesses said that protesting youth took to streets and clashed with Jammu and Kashmir police and forces are trying to disperse the youth.

“Protesters resorted to stone pelting on police personnel in the area,” locals said, adding traffic on the road has been halted.

According to locals the youth were raising slogans against harassment of Kashmiris in Jammu and other parts of India.
