Public transport disappears before dusk in Tral, commuters suffer

Tral: Authorities have failed to ensure the presence of public transport in the evening hours, commuters in South Kashmir’s Tral complained on Tuesday.
The students, government employees and businessmen complained that public transport, especially Sumos, disappear from roads after 4pm, putting them in hardship during the prevailing cold conditions.
“The drivers do whatever they like and do not follow any rule due to which we always suffer,” said a student Irshad Ahmad.
“It becomes difficult to reach home on time in the absence of transport facility,” he said.
The problem is mostly faced by the employees, businessmen and students, who have said that their pleas are turning into deaf ears.
“No one is taking any action,” Bashir Ahmad, a local resident said.
People Nahir, Khasipora, Panzoo, Lurgam, Satoora, Pastuna, Gulshanpora and many other areas mostly face problem as commuters are left strand every day during these hours. They appealed the concerned authorities to look into the issue.
