District Adminstration Kupwara has failed to Clear the roads thus causing huge inconvenve to the residents mostly the patients who are stuck into their houses in absence of transport facility in their area, Various villages of northern Kashmirs kupwara district  are complete cut off from main town with administration least concerned about the snow clearance operation.
Reports said that, Roads leading towards, Kachama, Milyal, Khanabal, Chowkibal, Hatchmarg, Thalmarg and mjnagh Hyhama are still closed Depsite Adminstration being aware about the snowfall prediction.
The residents of manigah Hyhama alleged that, over 15 days have gone past but authorities haven’t cleared the roads neither men nor machinery was pressed into the service, over two weeks patients from the area including eldelry persons are the worst sufferers in absence of the proper transportation services.
They said that, our area is not more than 15 kilometres away from main town Kupwara despite that, the Distirct Adminstration has failed to Clear the heap of snow from road.
While from Kralpora side the, locals residents from Hatchmarg claimed that, tall claims of Adminstration seem to have been burried under the snow as they have failed to Clear the snow from their area.
The residents said that, we don’t even have a pedestrian  pass-way  in our area, the Adminstration seems to have forgotten us amid inclement weather condition, since when there is  improvement in weather the authorities are in deep slumber leaving all of us residing here on God’s Mercy.
Several residents from Karnah-Tangdhar sector over phone told The Ins News that, our market is badly hit with the closure of Lone, Kupwara-Tangdhar road, the essential commodities have came to end here in market, as the road was thrown open just two days back but due to recent snowfall the road was again closed for the vehicular movement.
They said that, we’re  going through immense hardships amid inclement weather.
The district Adminstration here in main town kupwara has failed to De-Water the water lodged roads, talking to INS the local shopkeeper claimed that, Adminstration is in deep slumber as they have failed to facilitate the commuters as there is no proper way  for padestrtains to walk since the footpaths are covered by the shopkeepers and snow.
A local shopkeeper here at bypass kupwara said that, Muncipla committee has assembled a huge sum of snow before my shop which has directly affected the flow of customers.
He said that, I asked the muncipal corporation EO but despite assurance it wasn’t cleared for third consecutive day now.
While as the Keran-Kupwara Road is still closed for the  vehicular movement for over three weeks now.
While as the Adminstration has cleared all the roads in Handwara sub district excluding Inner links.
