AIIMS foundation: Advisor Sharma inspects arrangements

Jammu: Ahead of Prime Minister’s visit for laying foundation stone of AIIMS, Advisor to Governor, Kewal Kumar Sharma today visited the construction site at Vijaypur and inspected the arrangements made for the event.
The Advisor also discussed the security arrangements and deployment of personnel in the area.
While inspecting arrangements for the function, the Advisor asked the concerned functionaries to work in close coordination and make requisite arrangements for the event.
The Advisor had a detailed briefing on the arrangements made by various departments regarding decoration of stages, seating arrangements for general public and VIPs, drinking water and power supply, medical facilities, sanitation, parking, issuance of entry passes and ID cards, traffic management, installation of LEDs and CCTVs besides media stand, barricading and alike.
He directed them to make some alternate arrangements in view of prevailing weather conditions.
The Advisor interacted with the heads of security agencies and exhorted upon them to ensure fool proof security in and around the venue.
