Pulwama : A massive search by the officials of drug department led to the seizure of prohibited medicines and 110 medical terminations of pregnancy (MTP) kits, at Pampore area of Pulwama in South Kashmir.
Officials said that a search was initiated after the Drug Inspector Tasaduk Hussain reached the Pampore town and raided medical agencies and stores, where he seized these kits and banned drugs “including capsules, pills, injections,” from them.
On that occasion, drug inspector said that acting on specific information about “this illegal practice”, he rushed to the Pampore area “where a huge cache of banned drugs, including more than 110 medical terminations of pregnancy (MTP) kits, were seized during the raids”
He said that he was investigating the facts behind these illegal activities of Medical agency/store owners. “Further details will be shared once the investigation is over.”
