Kulgam, 29 Jan: A sentry at Yaripora Police Station in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday evening fired few rounds in the air after noticing some suspicious movement near the police station.

A  police official said that at around 7:47 pm, a sentry posted at police station Yaripora fired few shots in the air after observing some suspicious movement.

A local resident, however, told to INS that the firing lasted for several minutes and caused panic among the residents.
