Ganderbal: One boy was injured after the bus they were travelling was stone pelted, students attending Republic day function in the District Ganderbal were returning home.

According to locals a boy of eights standard was injured after the bus of Hill Top school was stone pelted at Sindbal area.

The bus JK16-4319 was stone pelted while dropping the students.

SSP Ganderbal however said that no one was injured in the incident.

“The boy who had pelted stones have been arrested,” SSP Ganderbal Khalil Poswal said.

Window pane of the bus were damaged.

“The boy had minor injury and he has reached home safely,” locals said.
