Jammu: People stranded in Jammu due to closure of highway on Friday protested in Jammu demanding Government take measures to airlift the stranded passengers.

Stranded passengers protested at General Bus Stand Jammu urging Governor Jammu and Kashmir to intervene personally.

“We urge government to take steps so that we are airlifted back to valley as people are out of money,” protesters said.

The Srinagar Jammu highway has been closed for vehicluar movement for five consecutive days due to snowfall and landslides.
