Ex-Chief Electoral Officer, IGP Kashmir Among 37 get state awards on R-day

Srinagar: The State government announced State Awards on the Republic Day  in favour of the 37 persons in different fields of life and among those awarded for meritorious public service include Shaleen Kabra, former Chief electoral officer and Principal Secretary to the Government industries and commerce department and Swayam Prakash Pani, (IPS), Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone. All the awardees are: Muzamil Mumtaz Of Satrina, Kangan District Ganderbal, Tsering Wangdus Loinpo, writer translator in ladakhi language, Noor shah, urdu writer, Shiv Dev Singh Sushil, Dogri writer, Makhanlal Saraf, Actor, Dermesh Nargotra Dogri singer, Ms. Sherine Fatima folk singer, Farooq Ahmad Mir, Kani Shawl Weaver Tariq ahmad mir sozni crafts, Association for social health in India J&K Branch. Shaleen Kabra( IAS) Principal secretary to the government industries and commerce Department, Swayam Prakash Pani (IPS) Inspector General of Police Kashmir zone, MS. Sheetal Nanda (IAS) Administrative secretary department of Rural Development and Panchiyat Raj, Khalid Jahangir (KAS) Deputy commissioner Kupwara, G.R.Mir (KAS) Additional secretary to the government health and medical education department, Subash C. Chibber (KAS) Additional secretary to the government general administration department , Mohammad Nazir Sheikh (KAS ) Director Panchiyat Raj institutions, Narinder Khajuria (KAS) Additional secretary to the government housing and urban development department, Javid Ahmad Koul senior superintendent of police crime branch Kashmir, Dr R.K.Chrangoo (Retd.) surgeon , Dr. Reyaz Untoo, principal SKIMS Medical college Bemina Srinagar, Dr. Saima Rashid, principal government medical college Srinagar, Dr. Jitendra udhampuri , Dr Girja Dhar (posthumously), Chandeep Singh Para (sports), Ms. Farheen Fayaz Pencak Silat, Nirmal Kumar (Mountaineering), Balveen Kour (Gymnastics), Rasik Salim (cricket), Danish Farooq ( football ) Saqlain Tariq (volleyball) , Ms Shreya Gupta (fencing) , Bilal Ahmad Dar (cycling), Ms Jasia akhter (cricket), Umar Ashraf (deaf cricket) Hiteshwar Singh (Rollball), women’s ice hockey team Leh.
