LOC flare up: India Pakistan armies trade gunfire in Poonch

Jammu: India and Pakistan armies on Thursday exchanged gunfire along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu division.

An official said that small arms firing exchange erupted at LoC in Poonch sector after ceasefire violation by Pakistani army who fired upon forward posts on Thursday morning’.

The firing started between 03 AM to 04:30 am today.

“The Pakistani fire was effectively retaliated,” an official added.

No loss of life and property has been reported so far
