Srinagar: Following snowfall in the valley authorities on Wednesday suspended all the air traffic at the Srinagar international airport.

According to officials the decision to halt the air traffic was taken due to low visibility and slippery condition of the road.

“Currently all the flights are stopped and further will be decided upon the weather situation,”SSP Airport Tahir Saleem.

An official said that men and machinery have been put to work and as soon the weather conditions improve the air traffic will resume.
