Kulgam: In  2016 the government announced up-gradation of infrastructure for Primary Health Centre (PHC) Building in Waltengoo Kund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.and government  sanctioned Rs 20 lakh for the work however, three years on the project is still incomplete. 
Residents of Kund  said that even after 3 years the 10 rooms building is still Incomplete and the work has been stopped many times in past few years.
“We approached the health department and R&B department Qazigund about the completion the building, but our repeated pleas have fallen on deaf ears,” they said.
The hospital is catering to more than 6000 people and the health center has only one doctor provided by the health department.
Basharat Ahmad Executive Engineer of R&B department Qazigund complained lack of funds.
“The construction is underway and it’s pending work will complete within time,” he promised without providing any timeline for the completion of work.
