No fresh traffic on highway, Mughal road closed

Srinagar: The authorities have decided not allow on Sunday any fresh traffic on Srinagar-Jammu highway, the only surface link connecting Kashmir Valley rest of the world.
“In view of inclement weather conditions as well as weather forecast made by meteorological Department. No any fresh vehicle shall be allowed to ply on Srinagar-Jammu (highway) on 13.01.2019,” said a traffic department official said. However he said only stranded vehicles shall be allowed to move.
Mughal road, which connects Shopian in south Kashmir with Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu region, also remained closed.
