Leopard caught alive  in Kupwara

Kupwara: A Leapord was caught alive in Forest Division office kupwara of northern Belt on Friday  morning.

“Early morning we found a Leapord trapped in the cage who had apperently came down in search of food due due to heavy snowfall in the local forests,” An official said.
“A cage is installed within the vicinity of our Forest Division office for months now since our office is amid dense woods where wild animals usually came down during winters,” an official from forest department said.
“We have informed the Wild life department to take away the Leapord”, he said.
