Govt forces launch CASO in Sopore

Sopore: Government forces on Sunday evening launched a cordon and search operation at Zaloora in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.
Reports said that Army’s 22 Rashtriya Rifles, SOG, 179 and 92 battalion CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation in Lone Mohalla area of Zaloora.
Locals said that a large number of troops were deployed in the area and door to door search operation has started in the area.
Officials sources told INS that CASO was launched after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
